Crown Xylol (also known as Xylene) is used for thinning paints, enamels, varnishes, and alkyd resins and is often specified as thinner for specialty paints and coatings. Like Toluol (Toluene), the evaporation rate is about five times slower. Better suited than Toluol (Toluene) for specific cleaning and degreasing applications.
